Vietnamese products "score points" with brand and quality

Faced with the current situation of counterfeit and fake goods, Vietnamese consumers are increasingly paying more attention to domestic products with clear origins and good quality.

Choose quality Vietnamese products

Amidst the maze of counterfeit and fake goods that surround the market, consumer confidence in domestic products is increasing. No longer choosing based on habit or because of low prices, buyers increasingly prioritize quality, clear origin and safety in consumption.

Co.opmart Dak Nong is one of the units actively responding to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products". Every morning, fresh food items such as vegetables, meat, fish, eggs... along with many high-quality domestic products are quickly put on the shelves. All meet strict regulations on origin, clear QR codes.

Mr. Tran Giang Nhat Thao - Director of Co.opmart Dak Nong shared: “The encouragement of “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” has been implemented by the retail chain of Saigon Co.op system for many years. The proportion of Vietnamese goods currently accounts for over 90% of the entire unit. Along with attractive promotional policies, we also prioritize displaying Vietnamese branded products in beautiful, easy-to-access locations to stimulate shopping demand”.

Similarly, at the facilities producing OCOP products, typical rural industries of Lam Dong , many products are being trusted and chosen by many consumers. Mr. Tran Van Hoi - Owner of Tran Van Hoi business household, Thuan Hanh commune shared: "The facility is currently producing fresh mushrooms, freeze-dried mushrooms, aloe vera cordyceps water and cordyceps wine, tea, and honey. These products are currently very popular with consumers. Recently, our facility has recorded a 2-3 times increase in consumption."

Not only capturing consumer trends, many Vietnamese brands also focus on improving product quality, diversifying conveniences, and enhancing shopping experiences. Thanks to that, they have gradually won the trust of consumers and increased sales.

Intensive trade promotion

Statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade of Lam Dong show that currently, Vietnamese goods account for 80-90% in modern distribution channels and over 60% in traditional retail systems. In recent times, the Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated to promote the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Notable activities include: implementing the program to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas; organizing trade promotion fairs; supporting businesses to invest in distributing Vietnamese goods...

Lam Dong province is currently implementing the construction of Vietnamese point-of-sale models called "Quintessence of Vietnamese goods" and "Pride of Vietnamese goods" in 2025; at the same time, participating in introducing safe agricultural products in provinces and cities across the country.

The industry regularly directs market management forces to inspect and prevent the trade of counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods. Thereby, contributing to protecting the interests of consumers as well as reputable domestic manufacturers. From now until the end of the year, the industry and trade sector is actively organizing specialized, in-depth and specific trade promotion activities for each group of goods through many activities.

These include programs such as bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas; activities in response to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; distributing Vietnamese goods in mountainous areas, remote areas; activities to promote the consumption of products from ethnic minority areas...

The industry also actively participates in programs connecting supply and demand of goods, connecting trade, exhibition of Da Lat - Lam Dong products; promotion programs to stimulate consumption... Along with improving quality, to build solid trust in consumers, businesses and production facilities in Lam Dong are also building long-term development strategies and focusing on brand protection.
