On the morning of June 25, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII, held its 18th meeting to discuss the implementation of contents on organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee and some contents on socio-economics and personnel work.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, assigned to manage the activities of the Hanoi Party Committee, said that at this conference, the City Party Committee discussed many important issues, including reviewing responsibilities and considering disciplinary measures for party members according to their authority.

Accordingly, implementing the direction of the Central Inspection Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee established an Inspection Team and issued Inspection Conclusion Notice No. 1682 dated April 26, 2024.

Pursuant to Regulation No. 22-QD/TW dated July 28, 2021 of the Central Executive Committee and Instruction No. 02-HD/TW dated December 9, 2021 of the Secretariat on the implementation of a number of contents of Regulation No. 22-QD/TW, on the basis of the issued conclusions, the Hanoi Party Committee will conduct a process to review responsibilities and consider disciplinary measures for a number of Party members according to their authority related to the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Party regulations and State laws for projects/bidding packages implemented by the International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC) and enterprises belonging to the AIC "ecosystem" from 2011 to 2021 at a number of units in the City and at the Hanoi National University Party Committee.

AIC Company was granted a business license by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment in 2010, with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director. In the following years, the company won a series of large contracts in the fields of health, education, environment... in many localities.

However, the illegal business deals of AIC Company that caused hundreds of billions of dong in damage to the state budget were discovered by the authorities. When the first criminal case related to AIC Company was prosecuted, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan fled and was immediately wanted. She was prosecuted in four cases.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan has been prosecuted, indicted and tried in 4 cases in several provinces and cities. Currently, Ms. Nhan has fled and is wanted .
