Hanoi announced the decision to establish Chu Van An High School for the Gifted

On February 13, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to announce the decision to reorganize Chu Van An High School into Chu Van An Specialized High School.

Accordingly, from the 2025-2026 school year, the school will only enroll specialized students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that the reorganization of Chu Van An High School into a specialized school will help the school maximize its potential and affirm its position in the education system of Hanoi and the whole country.

According to Mr. Cuong, this is not only a change in name but also a commitment of Hanoi city to the development of high-quality education, meeting the need for training talents. This transformation will also open up new opportunities for students, creating conditions for them to access an intensive learning environment, maximizing their abilities.

At the ceremony, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong presented the decisions to appoint the Principal of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted to Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhiep; and to appoint the Vice Principals of the school to Ms. Tran Thi Tuyen and Mr. Le Dai Hai.

Chu Van An High School for the Gifted was established in 1908 under the name of Bao Ho High School, also known as Buoi School, famous for its quality of teaching and learning. The school started opening specialized classes in 2010.
