Ha Giang Newspaper (new) is a public service unit under the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, officially put into operation from April 24, 2025.

Ha Giang Newspaper (new) implements tasks according to Project 42, dated April 24, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on merging the Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station; promulgates working regulations; appoints civil servants, leaders, and managers of affiliated departments according to regulations on decentralization of cadre management.

Provincial leaders presented decisions on appointing officials to Ha Giang Newspaper.

At the same time, arrange the number of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the departments and affiliated units in accordance with their professional qualifications, expertise, strengths, and work experience; stabilize and inherit the implementation of policies for civil servants, public employees, and workers according to regulations; streamline the internal apparatus and payroll according to Party regulations and State laws.

Regarding personnel work, the Standing Committee of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee assigned and appointed comrade Nguyen Trung Thu, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper.
