The Provincial People's Committee has leased land in 3 phases, with a total area of 288.5 hectares, reaching 96.1% of the scale of the Industrial Park. The construction of technical infrastructure in phase 1 has reached about 90% of the volume, the value implemented in 7 months of 2025 is 273.5/562 billion VND, the cumulative amount is 900.2/1,200 billion VND, equivalent to 75.02% of the total registered investment capital. However, there are still 33 dossiers with 7.3 hectares that have not been approved for compensation plans and the intersection of National Highway 1A with the Industrial Park has not been completed due to site clearance problems. The 110 kV power station serving the Industrial Park has not been deployed, causing concerns about affecting the overall completion progress.

Son My 1 Industrial Park (Son My Commune) has an area of 1,070 hectares, with a total registered capital of VND2,300 billion. Currently, compensation has only been implemented on 86.7 hectares, of which 76.5 hectares have been leased by the Provincial People's Committee. Notably, the priority area of 375 hectares has 288.5 hectares that have not been handed over, of which 7 organizations with 226.8 hectares have not agreed to receive compensation. With 65 households/45.32 hectares, although the compensation plan of VND81.3 billion has been approved, IPICO Joint Stock Company has not yet transferred funds to the Land Fund Development Center...
Son My 2 Industrial Park Phase 1, with a scale of 468.35 hectares and an investment capital of VND 1,717 billion, is currently only at the stage of implementing site clearance. Land acquisition, selection of a consulting unit to determine land prices and compensation plans are still slow. The investor continues to review and complete the feasibility study report according to the appraisal opinion of the Department of Construction.
Faced with the above situation, Mr. Phan Duong Cuong - Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board said that for Tan Duc Industrial Park, the Board is coordinating with Tan Minh commune to speed up the settlement of the remaining 33 files; coordinating with the Land Fund Development Center to complete related procedures to continue paying compensation; coordinating with the Department of Industry and Trade to work with the electricity sector to deploy the 110 kV station of Tan Duc Industrial Park in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Project Management Board is coordinating with the Department of Finance and localities to resolve the issue thoroughly, avoiding prolonging the impact on people's trust and project progress. For Son My 2 Industrial Park Phase 1, with a scale of 468.35 hectares but implementation is still slow, the Board is coordinating with localities to develop a land recovery plan and determine land prices.
Mr. Cuong added that the Industrial Park Management Board will continue to closely monitor each project, update progress regularly and coordinate closely with localities and investors to remove difficulties.
At the meeting to resolve difficulties with the Management Board of Industrial Parks, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized that departments, branches and localities need to coordinate closely to resolve difficulties in industrial parks regarding land prices, compensation, traffic infrastructure, electricity, etc. Specifically, the Department of Finance arranges capital for infrastructure investment, resolves proposals on funding; the Department of Construction coordinates planning for resettlement areas and workers' housing; the Department of Agriculture and Environment handles problems with national defense land; the Tax Department of Region XIV resolves investment incentives, etc. People's Committees of localities with industrial parks must ensure site clearance and maintain security and order.
Regarding Tan Duc Industrial Park, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested to focus on site clearance, ensuring the completion of phase 1 of the project in September 2025; at the same time, closely coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to remove obstacles regarding land prices, compensation, and connecting infrastructure. Regarding Son My 1 Industrial Park, urgently hand over the site of Son My I, Son My II projects and Son My LNG Warehouse, ensuring progress; at the same time, complete technical infrastructure items to attract investment. Regarding Son My 2 Industrial Park, phase 1, speed up the infrastructure construction progress, completely resolve obstacles related to site clearance and traffic infrastructure, water supply, ensuring the best conditions for businesses to soon deploy operations.
