Amidst rumors of playing in V-League, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club buys 11th player

After Quang Nam Club was at risk of leaving V-League 2025-2026 if it could not find a new sponsor, there was information that the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) had two options to consult the executive committee for a decision.

The first is to keep the 13 participating teams, with one team relegated instead of two. Or promote Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club to play in the 2025-2026 V-League. This is the team that lost toSHB Da Nang Club in the promotion play-off match at the end of June.

While everything is still unclear, at noon on July 24, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club announced two new players Ho Thanh Minh and Cao Tran Hoang Hung - the 10th and 11th contracts of the team to prepare for the new season 2025-2026.

Striker Ho Thanh Minh - a Ta Oi ethnic player nicknamed "Wild Elephant", contributed to the journey to win the SEA Games 31 gold medal at home for the Vietnam U23 team as well as wearing the Vietnam national team jersey.

In the last 4 seasons, Ho Thanh Minh scored 27 goals, promising to be an explosive spearhead in the attack of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club.

Meanwhile, center back Cao Tran Hoang Hung also played for the Vietnam U23 team. Hoang Hung's presence promises to bring more depth and stability to the defense of the Southeast team.

Previously, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club announced 9 new players: Minh Vuong, Xuan Truong, Le Van Son (Hoang Anh Gia Lai), Tran Quang Thinh (Nam Dinh), Thanh Thao (HCMC), Duc Cuong, Thanh Loc (Ninh Binh), Duong Van Khoa, Trong Hieu (Binh Dinh).
