Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Group 969, Political Commissar of the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Kim Ngoc Dai, Vice Principal of the Political Officer School attended the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung said: “The workshop was organized to affirm, develop and deepen theoretical and practical issues on the value of President Ho Chi Minh’s relics in the work of propaganda and education about the life, career, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh. Thereby, proposing solutions and recommendations to promote the political significance, historical, cultural and tourism values of President Ho Chi Minh’s relics in political education in the Vietnam People’s Army”.
The workshop also aims to promote the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, meeting the requirements of building the Army politically in the new situation. From there, draw lessons, continue to build and supplement scientific arguments on innovation, improve the quality of Party work, political work and training and fostering of Army cadres, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
The conference organizing committee received more than 100 presentations from officials, scientists, and researchers from functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense; officials, departments, agencies, units, academies, and schools inside and outside the Army. The conference content editorial board selected 69 outstanding presentations and compiled them into the conference proceedings.
The scientific workshop "Promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's relics in political education in the Vietnam People's Army" is expected to be held on May 25.
