Hand over the white pheasant that flew into a tea shop in Hue

On the morning of August 20, Mr. Dang Huu Hai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City, said that the locality had just received and handed over a white pheasant to Bach Ma National Park for care and conservation.

At around 5:45 p.m. on August 19, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loc (residing in Cu Chanh 1 residential group, Thuy Xuan ward) discovered a white pheasant flying into a tea shop in the Thuy Tien lake area (Hue city). Mr. Loc proactively reported the news and handed it over to the People's Committee of Thuy Xuan ward.

After that, Thuy Xuan Ward People's Committee coordinated with Hue City forest rangers to receive and bring the white pheasant to Bach Ma National Park for care and conservation.

The white pheasant weighed about 1kg and was in normal health. "The fact that people discovered it and proactively handed it over to the authorities shows a sense of responsibility in protecting wildlife and contributing to preserving biodiversity," said Mr. Dang Huu Hai.
