The Human Act Prize is an annual national award to honor individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions to society through community initiatives and projects with sustainable impact.

The award seeks and honors individuals and organizations that are implementing projects for the community - regardless of scale, starting point or field of activity.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh - editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, deputy head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, head of the award organizing committee - said that people who persevere to the end on the path they choose deserve to be spread, supported and honored, so that sustainable humanistic values can be lit up and extended throughout society.

Projects participating in the Human Act Prize 2025 will be evaluated based on five main criteria groups: Commitment, Sustainability, Innovation, Impact, and Spread.

The 2025 Community Action Award has many new features.

For the first time, the Human Act Prize is launching a completely free, in-depth training program for individuals running small and medium-sized community projects.

For the first time, the award has implemented a "Project Mentorship" mechanism. Accordingly, a number of large projects will volunteer to play the role of sponsor - not only providing professional support and knowledge sharing but also connecting the necessary resources to support small and medium-sized initiatives in the development stage.

This year, UNICEF officially partners with the Human Act Prize as a sustainability advisor, bringing extensive expertise to bear on sustainability issues, focusing on children’s rights, inclusion and social impact.

The community nomination portal and project registration portal for the official award open from August 20.
