Nearly 160 gifts were given to people and students in difficult circumstances.

(CT) - On July 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Loi Ward, Can Tho City coordinated with socio-political organizations and Peam Buol Thmay Pagoda to organize the program "Following you to school" for the 2025-2026 school year; at the same time, implementing social security activities, supporting the poor. This is a practical and meaningful activity to welcome the 1st Congress of Phu Loi Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Loi ward, abbot of Peam Buol Thmay pagoda and benefactors presented gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

At the program, the organizing committee presented 110 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, each worth 300,000 VND; presented 5 scholarships to students with good academic performance, each worth 300,000 VND in cash; presented 10 cash gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to veteran members in difficult circumstances and 34 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the area, each worth 300,000 VND. All gifts were mobilized from benefactors and businesses, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and support from the community.

The program not only contributes to motivating students to study but also spreads the spirit of sharing and solidarity, demonstrating the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations in social security work in the locality.
