Nearly 150,000 visitors visit Vietnam Military History Museum on April 30

147,750 visitors, including more than 1,000 international visitors, visited the Vietnam Military History Museum during the 5-day free opening to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), following the direction of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam Military History Museum has exempted admission fees from April 30 to May 4, 2025.

Nearly 150,000 visitors in 5 days

On this occasion, the Museum welcomed 147,750 visitors, including more than 1,000 international visitors from many countries. In particular, the Museum was honored to welcome the Political Department of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, a symbol of lasting international solidarity.

To enhance the visiting experience, the Museum has distributed national flags, liberation flags, and leaflets introducing QR codes to help look up information about the building's architecture as well as typical artifacts from the resistance war against the US to save the country.

Experience automatic commentary software in Vietnamese and English

Notably, Audioguide technology - automatic commentary software in Vietnamese and English has been applied on handheld devices and smartphones, helping visitors easily learn about artifacts related to the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising through vivid, historical commentary.

The spaces in the museum are always crowded with visitors.

With free access and innovation in public access, the Vietnam Military History Museum not only continues to be a "red address" in revolutionary tradition education but also contributes to spreading the cultural values ​​and military history of Vietnam to the international community.

This event is also a clear demonstration of the everlasting vitality of the spirit of the great victory of Spring 1975 in the minds of peace-loving people and international friends.
