On the afternoon of July 17, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision assigning comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, to hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Attending the conference were comrades: Luong Cuong, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; comrades Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee: Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Committee.

According to Decision No. 1379-QDNS/TW dated July 17, 2024 of the Politburo announced by Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission Nguyen Quang Duong, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, ceased participating in the Secretariat, ceased holding the position of Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Luong Cuong presented the decision to comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
