On March 5, regarding the serious traffic accident at km 151 of National Highway 2 (through Tu Quan commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang) in the early morning of the same day that caused many casualties, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health requested the Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province and the Director of Viet Duc Hospital to focus on emergency and treatment for the victims of this serious traffic accident.

Accordingly, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Director of the Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province and the Director of Viet Duc Hospital to concentrate the maximum number of doctors, medicines, and medical equipment to promptly treat serious cases, minimize deaths, and minimize damage caused by the accident. At the same time, promptly treat and cure the victims and propose opinions and recommendations to the Ministry of Health to ensure the best emergency response to traffic accidents; coordinate professionally with higher-level medical examination and treatment facilities or promptly transfer to higher-level facilities.

Previously, at 1:36 a.m. on February 5, at km 151 of National Highway 2 (through Tu Quan commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang), container truck with license plate 15C-075.26 collided with passenger bus with license plate 23F-000.58 traveling in the opposite direction from Ha Giang to Tuyen Quang, killing 5 people on the spot and injuring several others.
