On the morning of April 11, a working delegation from the Department of Construction of Cao Bang province (Vietnam) and the Department of Transport of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) surveyed the Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Long Bang (China) international border gate pair.

The working delegation conducted a field survey at the specialized customs clearance route for transporting goods from Na Doong (Vietnam) to Na Ray (China) and worked with the Border Gate Management Board, Border Gate Customs Branch, and Tra Linh Border Gate Border Guard Station (Chongqing).

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board briefly reported the results of import-export activities and investment attraction in the past time. In 2024, Tra Linh International Border Gate collected import-export tax on goods passing through the area of ​​over 91.1 billion VND, with a total import-export turnover of 335.36 million USD. Main export goods: cashew nuts, pepper, durian, dried mango, shrimp, frozen fish, unprocessed lead...; imported goods include: garment fabrics, sugar yeast, coke, speaker clamps... Along with the pairs of border gates and openings in the province, the pair of Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Long Bang (China) international border gates, including the Na Doong - Na Ray customs clearance, is the most convenient road route connecting the Southwest region, China to ASEAN countries. Through the implementation of the infrastructure construction campaign, projects and customs clearance policies have improved the efficiency of border trade management and increased the density of service types in the border economic zone.

The delegates discussed some cooperation contents in the coming time, aiming to facilitate road transport activities between the two sides, continue to strengthen the bridge of contact and coordination with relevant authorities at the border gates, simplify administrative procedures, customs clearance procedures for entry and exit, and international road transport work between Vietnam and China. Focus on exchanging "International Road Transport Licenses" applicable to passenger, cargo and official vehicles passing through international road transport border gates. Customs clearance procedures, support for businesses in transporting goods. Agree on solutions to facilitate and promote the transport of goods and tourists on routes deep into the territories of the two countries.
