Accordingly, Implementing the Special Announcement of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the State funeral of former President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Khamtay Siphandone; Document No. 1539/UBND-KGVX dated April 3, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the special announcement on the State funeral of former President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Khamtay Siphandone. After synthesizing the proposals of relevant agencies and units, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announces the schedule to stop and postpone a number of activities in the Hung Kings' Commemoration Program and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025.

Specifically, stop organizing activities: palanquin processions of communes, wards and towns on the outskirts of the Hung Kings Temple Historical Site; Lion - Lion - Dragon dance performances; Banh Chung wrapping and cooking contests and Banh Giay pounding contests; Band exchange programs of Guitar Clubs; Exchange programs of Folk Dance and Dance Clubs. Water puppetry performances on April 4 - 5, 2025 (ie March 7 - 8, At Ty year).

Adjusting the time of organizing activities: Hung Vuong Cup Volleyball Tournament 2025, matches from April 4 - 6, 2025 will be postponed to April 6 - 8, 2025. Viet Tri Open Rowing Tournament 2025 will be held at 7:00 a.m. on April 6, 2025 (ie March 9, At Ty year). Water puppetry performances will be organized on April 6 - 7, 2025 (ie March 9 - 10, At Ty year). Other activities will continue as planned.
