In 2015, Hong Quyen joined the Blue Sky group organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, gathering talented and promising children of cai luong artists to invest in training according to the method of passing on the profession, cultivating choreography, singing and dancing, modern dancing and many skills to become a future multi-talented artist. In 2021, she joined the Dong Au Bach Long troupe, working at the Non La Theater (Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace). Hong Quyen also contributed to the Da Ho Ly Sound project organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, aiming to bring traditional music closer to young people. During that time, Hong Quyen studied in the Stage Directing class K3 of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema, course 2021-2025.

With professional stage, Hong Quyen left her mark in cai luong plays, such as: Doi nhu y (author: Bui Quoc Bao, cai luong adaptation: Hoang Song Viet, director: Meritorious Artist Phan Quoc Kiet) of Tran Huu Trang Cai Luong Theater, Nguoi ven do (author: late writer - Colonel Minh Khoa, cai luong adaptation: Nguyen Gia Nghiem, director: Meritorious Artist Hoa Ha) of Dai Viet New Cai Luong Theater.

Living in a family with many talented and famous stage artists, Hong Quyen also suffered a lot of pressure. The actress confided: “When I was young, everyone I met said I was a child of a stage artist family, had to sing or act well to continue the family business. The pressure was so great that sometimes when someone asked if I was Suong's daughter, I was moved to tears. When I grew up, I gradually thought more openly, started to follow my own artistic path, without having to confine myself to the large shadow of my family. What I feel most fortunate about is that I have always loved stage art, if I have the opportunity and enough fate to study, practice, and develop, I will happily accept it.”

Regarding her upcoming plans, Hong Quyen shared that she is focusing on her graduation play in directing. Next, she will join Meritorious Artist Tu Suong in community art projects. She confided: “In recent times, traditional theater activities have received support and love from the audience. That is an extremely favorable condition for the young generation of artists like us to have more faith and hope, and to confidently develop our profession better in the future.

Personally, I always feel responsible for continuing the artistic path of my family and clan. That journey will be very arduous, I don't know where it will go, but what I can do is to try my best in terms of expertise and performance techniques. As of now, in order to be able to perform plays with historical and cultural themes, I and many young people of the same age are trying to learn and supplement knowledge in this field. I believe that national identity is the effective way for Cai Luong theater to stand firm in the hearts of audiences as well as have the opportunity to reach out internationally."
