The number of candidates scoring 27 points or more in the admission groups is 1,864/17,600 candidates. Bac Ninh also has 89 candidates in the top 100 of all groups nationwide.

The Department stated that the average score of 9 high school exam subjects in 2023 was 6.92, by 2024 it would increase to 7.21 and rank 5th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

In terms of rankings, math ranked 3rd (up 4 places compared to 2023), physics ranked 2nd (same as 2023), chemistry ranked 6th (up 2 places compared to 2023).

History ranked 6th (down 1 place compared to 2023), geography ranked 7th (up 4 places compared to 2023), foreign language ranked 8th (same as 2023). In particular, literature ranked 8th (down 1 place compared to 2023).

Regarding the ranking of traditional exam blocks, blocks A0 and A1 ranked 2nd, block B0 ranked 10th, and blocks C0 and D1 ranked 5th nationwide.

No one can intervene to make high school exam scores "abnormally high"

According to the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province, in order for students to achieve high scores in the high school graduation mock exams, the provincial teaching staff will directly provide review training in the final stage. 2024 is the third consecutive year that Bac Ninh province has had the national top scorer in group C0, two runners-up in group D1...

According to the explanation of this department, in addition to attention and effective investment, Bac Ninh education has many solutions such as building a question bank, a review bank, and assigning good specialized teachers to teach grade 12.

For literature, the department organized two conferences to guide teaching, build a review question bank, analyze the structure and matrix of exam questions from recent years to determine the knowledge and skills that students need to be equipped with, especially knowledge that is prone to errors and deduction of points.

Based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, Bac Ninh province will continue to evaluate and adjust teaching and review in the following school years.

"For example, the literature exam from 2025 will no longer use materials from textbooks or other adjustments to approach an education system that develops learners' qualities and abilities," said the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training.
