For 15 years, with many practical and effective solutions, the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the province has been increasingly widespread and in-depth. From the campaign, people have trusted Vietnamese goods more, helping businesses overcome difficulties, stabilize and develop production. Moreover, the campaign also arouses patriotism and national pride in each consumer.

With a business scale of more than 16,000 products, of which over 90% are of Vietnamese origin, to promote its role as a bridge to bring Vietnamese goods to consumers in the province, many solutions have been implemented by Coopmart Quang Tri Supermarket in recent times.

Deputy Director of Coopmart Quang Tri Supermarket Ho Thi Thanh Duyen said: “Through the product connection support program organized annually by the Department of Industry and Trade, Coopmart Quang Tri has created maximum conditions for clean agricultural products, typical products, and qualified OCOP products of the province to be put into business at the supermarket.

Along with that, to help consumers easily access Vietnamese products, Coopmart always prioritizes displaying products made in Vietnam in good locations, easy for customers to see and choose. Many promotional programs are regularly implemented by the Coopmart system to attract consumers to domestic products. Among them, "Proud of Vietnamese goods" is the biggest promotional program of the year, with outstanding activities such as weekend discount prices, gift vouchers, thousands of products discounted up to 50%, buy 1 get 1 free, double reward points...

At the same time, Coopmart Quang Tri Supermarket also organizes many campaigns to bring Vietnamese goods to the countryside with a product structure of 100% Vietnamese goods, essential goods with promotional programs of discounts, giving away the best products. Thereby creating conditions for consumers to have many opportunities to access Vietnamese branded products, to shop and enjoy customer care services with good quality, reasonable prices.

The campaign is very important to strengthen consumers' trust in Vietnamese products, but at the same time it also reminds manufacturers to be more responsible for their products and consumers, especially human health. Along with that, the campaign also changes the shopping and consumption habits of Vietnamese people, contributing to creating trust, thereby building positive consumer behavior for Vietnamese products”.

Clearly identifying the purpose, meaning and importance of the campaign, the Provincial Steering Committee for the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" has focused on promoting propaganda and mobilizing consumers to use Vietnamese goods.

This has positively impacted the change in awareness, production and business behavior of enterprises and the quality of local products, goods and services; attracting the response of all classes of people to consume domestically produced goods. Service enterprises have focused on promoting and advertising products, organizing participation in fairs, implementing discount and promotion policies for consumers of Vietnamese goods.

Along with propaganda work, the Provincial Steering Committee for Market Development also directed member units to focus on implementing and organizing many diverse activities, building many effective and practical models. Market inspection and control work is focused. In the 5 years from 2019-2024, functional branches in the province have inspected and handled 10,540 violations and imposed administrative fines of more than 191,943 billion VND.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee of the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign Le Hong Son affirmed: "Through the implementation of the campaign, consumers' awareness has had positive changes, gradually becoming more aware of the production and business capacity of enterprises and the quality of Vietnamese products, goods and services, creating trust, habits and positive consumption behavior of Vietnamese goods.

Along with that, Vietnamese goods markets in rural areas are warmly welcomed by consumers. This is an opportunity to visit, shop, and access quality products produced by domestic enterprises. Especially in the context of economic recession and difficulties in industrial production, prioritizing the use of Vietnamese goods is an act of "benefiting the country and the family", demonstrating the responsibility and patriotism of each citizen".

With the goal of striving for 100% of people and businesses to know about the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", over 90% of businesses and people in the province prioritize Vietnamese goods in production and consumption, in the coming time, many solutions will continue to be implemented by the province. In which, propaganda work will continue to be strengthened.

The province also has preferential policies to support enterprises in producing, distributing and consuming Vietnamese goods in the area. Maintain and improve the effectiveness of meetings and dialogues with enterprises to promptly exchange information and remove obstacles and difficulties in investment, production and business activities of enterprises...
