Localities are required to review and delineate areas at risk of landslides, establish safety corridors, install warning signs, conduct surveys, and select appropriate technical solutions to prevent and combat landslides. At the same time, they are required to strengthen inspections, mobilize people to evacuate from dangerous areas, and provide timely support when incidents occur.

Since the beginning of the year, Ca Mau has recorded 50 landslides with a total length of 1,345m, damaging 44 houses, 2 square shrimp culverts,... causing damage of over 16 billion VND.

In Long An (old), from the beginning of 2025 until now, there have been 6 dangerous landslides and subsidence points with a total length of more than 2,000m, causing damage of more than 12 billion VND, greatly affecting people's traffic and production.
