The above figures reflect the strong recovery of Ca Mau tourism after the pandemic, thanks to the effectiveness of linkages and product diversification. The programs "One journey, two destinations", the tour of Dat Mui - Cao Van Lau Theater - Don ca tai tu memorial site, or the ecological route through the mangrove forest combined with the wind power field attract a large number of tourists. The Nghinh Ong Festival, Lac Long Quan Temple, Mother Au Co and many cultural and sports events also contribute to extending the length of stay and increasing spending.

Tourist Do Huu Thinh (Dong Nai) shared: “Coming to Dat Mui, I was really impressed with the fresh air, the vast mangrove forests and the hospitality of the people. This trip helped me feel more clearly the pride of setting foot on the southernmost point of the country. In particular, being able to combine a trip to both Ca Mau and An Giang in one trip helped me save time but still have a rich experience.”

Sharing the same feeling, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan (Ho Chi Minh City) said: “This is the first time I have experienced a tour through the forest, watching the alluvial plains, visiting Lac Long Quan Temple, Au Co Mother Statue and watching the sea. When I knew I was standing at the southernmost point of the country, I felt a sacred feeling rising in my heart. Combining the trip with a visit to Cao Van Lau Theater in Bac Lieu made the journey even more complete.”

From these impressive results, the tourism industry of Ca Mau has determined to continue exploiting its strengths in ecotourism, culture, history and community tourism, focusing on experiential products associated with local characteristics. In addition, the province will promote its image on digital platforms, expand cooperation with large travel businesses, and upgrade transport infrastructure connecting key destinations. The goal is not only to complete the 2025 plan, but also to gradually build Ca Mau into a unique ecotourism center of the Mekong Delta, where visitors "come once, remember forever".
