The congress was attended by 113 delegates representing more than 530 party members of the entire party committee. Reporting at the congress, Mr. Vu Van Tai - Secretary of the Party Committee of Fisheries Control Team No. 3 informed that in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Fisheries Control Team No. 3 has synchronously deployed solutions to lead the unit's activities.

In particular, the Party Committee has promoted internal solidarity and democracy; the leadership capacity of the Party organization has been constantly strengthened..., thereby bringing about positive results in all aspects, excellently completing many key tasks.

Notably, the Squadron has effectively carried out its duties of being on duty at sea, patrolling, controlling and protecting fishing grounds, and implementing Prime Minister's Directive No. 45 on combating illegal fishing (IUU).

The fisheries surveillance ships successfully rescued 16 fishing boats and 148 fishermen, becoming a solid support for fishermen to go out to sea and stick to the sea. Propaganda and support for fishermen were also promoted, contributing to raising awareness of law compliance in fishing activities.

In training, the Team always implements the motto of “basic, practical, solid”, focusing on synchronous, in-depth training and focusing on practice. The annual training results are constantly improved, helping the Team to be awarded the “Excellent Training Unit” Flag at the Ministry level for many consecutive years.

Logistics and technical work is also of high quality, ensuring good performance for regular and ad hoc tasks. The lives of officers and employees have been significantly improved, technical equipment is always synchronized, especially for ships operating for long periods at sea in harsh weather conditions.

The team has made its mark with 16 initiatives and technical improvements that have been effectively applied, while actively building a "standard, exemplary" ship model.

With outstanding achievements, the Team was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, and for many consecutive years has achieved the title of Party Committee that excellently fulfilled its tasks and a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary, typical".

For the 2025-2030 term, the Congress has identified 3 key task groups and 7 main solutions. In particular, the breakthrough contents emphasized include: Innovation, improving the quality of training, especially cadre training; building regulations, law enforcement, discipline and ensuring safety; promoting responsibility, discipline and exemplary role of cadres and party members.
