Fighter jets and helicopters circled many times in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City

Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters, Yak-130 training fighter jets and Su-30MK2 fighter jets continued to practice many rounds in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of March 28.

At around 9:00 a.m., 10 Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters, 6 Yak-130 training fighter jets, and 7 Su-30MK2 fighters took off from Bien Hoa airport (Dong Nai) toward the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.

Each group flies about 3-5 minutes apart, helicopters in a 3-4-3 formation, each group has 3-4 fighters, the first group is 1-2km away from the next group.

This is the second practice session of the Vietnam Air Force in preparation for the performance at the 50th Anniversary of National Reunification (April 30).

10 helicopters practice flying in formation one after another. The pilots have to calculate the distance and position to make it balanced and beautiful.

Inside the cockpit of the Mi-8 helicopter, to maintain position while flying, the pilots must coordinate operations and communicate with ground forces.

A helicopter performs a training flight over the Phu My bridge area (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).

Yak-130 and Su-30MK2 aircraft also roared loudly over the Ho Chi Minh City sky while performing many continuous training sessions.

District 7, HCMC.

At the Independence Palace (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), many children and foreign tourists were surprised to see helicopters and fighter jets right before their eyes.
