In order to improve the quality of ethnic minority human resources, in recent years, the District People's Committee has issued guiding documents such as: Project 213/ĐAUBND, dated November 23, 2020 on developing human resources in Dakrong district for the period 2021-2025 with a vision to 2030; Plan to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in Dakrong district (Project 5: Developing education and training to improve the quality of human resources. Sub-project 4, Project 5: Training to improve capacity for the community and program implementation staff at all levels)...
At the same time, every year, the Dakrong District People's Committee also issues a plan to recruit civil servants, in which priority is given to recruiting ethnic minority people, the target candidates. In addition, civil servants are regularly sent to attend training courses to improve their qualifications, expertise, and skills to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation...
Thanks to that, up to now, the total number of ethnic minority civil servants and public employees in the district is 536 people, including 10 people at the district level; 344 career civil servants; and 182 people at the commune level. Most of the ethnic minority cadres from the district to the grassroots level have met or exceeded the standards in terms of expertise, profession and political theory, have sufficient qualities and capacities, and are able to meet the requirements and tasks in the current period.
Chairman of Dakrong District People's Committee Thai Ngoc Chau said: In the coming time, the District People's Committee will continue to closely follow the directives and instructions of the superiors to determine the need for training and fostering high-quality human resources of ethnic minorities according to the set roadmap. By 2030, the intellectual team of Dakrong District will be strong, ensuring quality and quantity, with a reasonable structure in sectors and fields, with political qualities, ethics, capacity and qualifications to meet the requirements of the industrialization and modernization process.
