The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Technology was a great success.

The congress was attended by 239 delegates representing all party members of party committees and branches under the General Department Party Committee.

The Congress promoted political responsibility, promoted democracy, focused on intelligence, actively discussed and contributed ideas, objectively and substantially assessed the results of the leadership in implementing the tasks of the General Department of Administration and Economics since the merger and reorganization, and resolved on the direction, goals, targets, tasks and leadership solutions for the next term.

Lieutenant General Do Van Thien, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, delivered the closing speech at the congress.

Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the General Department of Personnel and Technology, concluded the content of his participation in the draft Political Report of the Central Military Commission to be presented to the 12th Party Congress of the Army.

At the Congress, delegates contributed many important and quality opinions to the draft documents of the Central Executive Committee at the 14th National Party Congress; the draft Political Report of the Central Military Commission to be submitted to the 12th National Party Congress of the Army.

The Congress elected 21 comrades to the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, elected 21 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 12th Military Party Congress, ensuring the correct standards, structure, principles, representing the political mettle, intelligence, and solidarity strength of the entire Party.

Lieutenant General Do Van Thien, Party Committee Secretary and Political Commissar of the General Department of Personnel and Administration for the 2020-2025 term, was re-elected as Party Committee Secretary for the 2025-2030 term. Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Director of the General Department of Personnel and Administration, was re-elected as Deputy Party Committee Secretary of the General Department of Personnel and Administration for the 2025-2030 term.

In his closing speech at the congress, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the General Department of Personnel and Organization, affirmed that the success of the congress was first of all thanks to the close leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense ; the direction, guidance and support of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the functional agencies of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense; and the high solidarity and unity in awareness, responsibility, will and action of the delegates attending the congress.

Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested: Immediately after the congress, delegates attending the congress and Party committees at all levels focus on leading and directing the dissemination of the congress results to cadres, party members, and the masses in the entire General Department and in the Military's HC-KT sector.

Urgently supplement, deploy, and concretize into programs and action plans of one's level, to soon put the resolution into practice in the tasks of the General Department of Administrative Procedures.
