On the side of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard, there were Colonel Ngo Minh Dien, Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard; Colonel Dang Van Hoang, Party Committee member, Deputy Commander of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard - Head of the Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association; and members of the Association.

The Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association was established on April 27, 2021, consisting of 47 members selected according to the criteria of the Vietnam Lawyers Association Charter from among cadres and party members of the Departments, offices of the Command and Border Guard Stations, and Squadron 2 under the Provincial Border Guard.

Speaking at the Congress, Colonel Dang Van Hoang, Deputy Commander of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard - Head of the Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association, said: "The association was established in the context of the complicated Covid-19 pandemic... The Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association has been gradually consolidated and improved in terms of structure, quantity, organization and staffing. During its operation, it has regularly received close guidance and direction from the Quang Binh Provincial Lawyers Association, the attention and leadership of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee and Command, and the close coordination of the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units, so its activities have become increasingly in-depth and orderly."

During the last term, the activities of the Lawyers Association have achieved many important results in the following areas: Participation in contributing opinions to draft legal documents; Propaganda, dissemination and education of law; mobilizing people to respect and comply with the law; Law enforcement in border areas.

In the discussion, most members' opinions said that, during the past term, thanks to the leadership of the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association, the Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association has completed its tasks well, and all areas of work have operated effectively.

At the Congress, members also proposed many measures to continue building a comprehensively strong Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association, constantly promoting the role and position of a political - social - professional organization, actively contributing to serving the country's political tasks.

In particular, it is necessary to continue to promote the work of propaganda, political and ideological education for members through organizing the study of the Party's policies and resolutions; the State's legal policies; Strengthening coordination with the Lawyers' Associations of departments and localities to improve the scope of activities and awareness of the Association's cadres and members in performing assigned tasks; Regularly organizing training and fostering knowledge and professional and technical capacity. Focusing on doing a good job of inspecting and supervising members in their organization and activities.

After the discussion, Mr. Nguyen Van Thin, Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial Bar Association, gave a speech directing the Congress. The Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial Bar Association highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Border Guard Bar Association in the past term. At the same time, he also suggested that the Congress should pay attention to adding a number of tasks and measures to discuss and supplement the Congress Resolution for the term 2024 - 2029.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association for the 2024-2029 term, consisting of 05 comrades. Colonel Dang Van Hoang, Party Committee member, Deputy Commander of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard, was re-elected as Chairman of the Provincial Border Guard Lawyers Association for the 2024-2029 term.
