Within the framework of the event “Meeting Danang 2024”, on the afternoon of January 26, the Danang Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Synopsys Corporation on cooperation in training microchip design; and with Intel Corporation on cooperation in training artificial intelligence human resources for the future.

Accordingly, DSAC Center cooperated with Synopsys Corporation (providing textbooks, programs, lecturers) and Vietnam-Korea University (lab) to organize 2 training courses for Da Nang's source lecturers to train microchip design; cooperated with Intel (providing textbooks, programs, lecturers) and Duy Tan University (lab) to organize training courses for AI human resources for Da Nang City.

According to Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, the signing of cooperation agreements between DSAC Center and two leading corporations in the US and the world in the fields of microchip design, semiconductors and artificial intelligence can be considered an initial result, creating a premise for the center to perform well its assigned functions and tasks.

Mr. Le Trung Chinh requested DSAC to proactively coordinate with Synopsys and Intel Corporations to effectively implement the training program for lecturers in the field of microchip design and artificial intelligence in 2024, as a premise to open training classes and foster high-quality human resources, meeting the standards of international corporations in microchip design and artificial intelligence.

In training and development, DSAC needs to clearly identify the supply and demand problem, develop a specific cooperation plan with universities in the training alliance on microchip design and artificial intelligence to propose and implement effective and quality solutions.

“From 2025 onwards, DSAC needs to develop a cooperation roadmap with major partners to deploy in-depth training courses on core technologies to gradually form start-ups and spin-offs in the fields of semiconductors and artificial intelligence in Da Nang,” the Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee assigned.
