Telegram on focusing on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and stabilizing people's lives

Accordingly, the telegram requests agencies and units to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement telegrams and documents of the Government, the Prime Minister and the General Staff, and coordinate with local authorities to mobilize forces to support people in overcoming the consequences of floods.

Military Regions 2 and 4 preside over and direct the Military Commands of the provinces (especially Dien Bien , Son La, and Nghe An provinces) to closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant agencies and units to immediately rebuild completely damaged houses and urgently relocated houses from funds mobilized and supported by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to be completed in September 2025 at the request of the locality, quickly stabilizing people's lives and production.

Military Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4 directed the Military Commands of provinces and cities to closely coordinate with departments, branches, sectors, and organizations to advise local Party committees and authorities to continue to review and inspect areas at risk of flash floods, inundation, and landslides; have plans to evacuate people and property of the people and the State out of dangerous and unsafe areas; organize medical examination and treatment, provide free medicine to people, organize food relief, foodstuffs, and necessities for households at risk of hunger, especially households that have lost their homes and families with preferential policies; mobilize forces and resources to help local authorities clean up schools and classrooms, and repair damaged educational facilities.

The Information and Communications Corps and the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group direct units to prepare plans to ensure communications for directing and operating rescue operations, especially in isolated areas. Check the telecommunications system, ensure uninterrupted communications, and have plans to ensure communications in all situations.

The General Departments of Logistics - Engineering and Defense Industry, according to their functions and tasks, shall strengthen direction, supervision and inspection of barracks and warehouses of units under their authority; proactively coordinate, issue and promptly transport supplies and equipment for rescue and relief to help localities overcome consequences when requested.

Propose that the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army direct the People's Army Newspaper, the Army Radio and Television Center and units to do a good job of propagating and reporting on the activities of the army to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
