Political art program "Independence Star" in 2024

The program, with the presence of leaders of the Party, State and Committees, Ministries, branches and localities, will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television at 20:10 on August 25, 2024 at Hanoi Opera House, rebroadcast on People's Television, Hanoi Radio and Television, People's Police Television and spread on other social media.

Over the years, “Independence Star” has become an annual program (starting in 2016), awaited by many veteran revolutionaries, intellectuals, party members and the masses during the autumn days of August. With unique artistic content, it depicts the noble cultural and historical values of patriotism and the indomitable will of many generations of heroic Vietnamese people.

The program recalls the heroic memories of the nation, the glorious pages of history written with blood and bones, with the sacrifices and struggles of our entire Party, army and people, represented by the shining examples of revolutionary veterans and heroes of the people's armed forces on all fronts.

The 2024 political art program "Independence Star" is structured into 3 parts: Part 1 "Independence Star" with a special dance performance from 70 stars; Part 2 "Springs for the Party" with the highlight being the presentation of documents about the articles of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the Communist Magazine combined with the overall image of Vietnam; Part 3 "Vietnam standing, flying dragon"...

The interweaving of central reports and artistic performances with heroic revolutionary songs, pop songs, lyrical music, elaborately staged, impressively arranged, highly interactive images promises to bring to the audience at the Hanoi Opera House and television audiences nationwide heroic and also emotional moments, with pride, gratitude, faith and aspiration to rise up and join hands to build the country.

That aspiration has been fueling the traditional flame so that today's generations can continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, unite, build and protect our country to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
