Join hands to protect the environment to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

The telegram stated that in recent times, waste collection, treatment and environmental sanitation in many localities have had positive changes, contributing to improving the urban landscape, residential areas and improving people's quality of life.

However, in some places, there is still littering, waste accumulation, not collected and treated promptly, causing environmental pollution, affecting people's lives and health and spoiling the beauty of urban and rural areas.

To overcome the above situation, at the same time raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and the entire people, build a bright - green - clean - beautiful living environment, especially in the coming days when the whole country will celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, the Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities to launch a movement for the whole people to join hands to protect the environment, participate in general environmental sanitation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

Localities review and arrange garbage collection locations, public trash bins, equipment, and appropriate means of garbage collection and transportation in residential areas, markets, bus stations, schools, entertainment areas, especially at locations where activities and events are held to celebrate the 80th National Day celebration on September 2.

The Prime Minister requested to collect, receive, classify and treat waste promptly, not allowing waste to accumulate, causing unsanitary conditions and environmental pollution, especially in residential areas, public places, tourist areas, streets, village roads, alleys, canals, ponds, lakes, rivers, and coastlines in the days before, during and after the 80th National Day celebration on September 2. Strengthen inspection, supervision and strict handling of violations of environmental protection regulations, especially littering.

The Prime Minister requested the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to coordinate with authorities at all levels to organize general cleaning campaigns and garbage collection to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

The Youth Union directs youth unions at all levels to promote their pioneering role, organize youth volunteer teams to collect waste, plant trees, clean village roads, alleys, streets, canals, lakes, rivers, and coastlines; coordinate with schools to organize activities to classify domestic solid waste, clean schools to be bright - green - clean - beautiful, educate and propagate environmental protection for students.

The Vietnam Women's Union directs women's unions at all levels to launch movements such as "Family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "Clean house, beautiful alley"; step up propaganda, guidance, and mobilization of members to actively classify waste at home, maintain environmental hygiene at home and in residential areas. The Vietnam Farmers' Union plays a key role in building and maintaining community models such as "Flower streets, green tree streets", "Green - clean - beautiful - safe villages", "Fields without waste".

Ministries, branches, localities, unions, agencies, and units at the central and local levels maintain environmental hygiene at agencies, headquarters, and workplaces to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
