Nguoi Dua Tin once had an article reflecting

Regarding the flood prevention project of 32 roads in Ninh Kieu district, which started on August 4, 2022, on July 2, 2022, Nguoi Dua Tin published an article "Closing median strips, flooded roads, small traders in Can Tho face difficulties" reflecting the situation that every time there is heavy rain or high tide, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street is deeply flooded, making business and travel difficult for people.

Notably, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street is considered a bustling business route of Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District, where there are many small traders in Can Tho City. However, for more than ten years, since the closure of Hoa Binh Avenue, this route has been almost "isolated" and become deserted, the number of visitors and shoppers has decreased by 60-70%. People hope to remove the above-mentioned "flooding hot spot" and reopen the Hoa Binh Avenue median to facilitate people's travel and business.
