The conference to implement the cooperation agreement took place in Ca Mau province, with the participation of representatives of the two schools, including Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut, Vice Rector of HIU, and leaders of departments, centers and specialized faculties of HIU. On the BLU side, there were Dr. Phan Van Dan, Rector; Dr. Ngo Duc Luu, Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Tien Hai Ly, Vice Rector, and leaders of functional departments, centers and specialized faculties.

Previously, on June 23, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the leaders of the two schools signed a memorandum of cooperation. Both HIU and BLU are application-oriented higher education institutions, multi-disciplinary and multi-field training, focusing on learners. This common platform creates favorable conditions for the two sides to strengthen connections, build joint training models, share professional experiences and jointly develop modern training programs to meet the practical needs of the labor market.

On the morning of June 23, 2025, Hong Bang International University and Bac Lieu University signed a memorandum of understanding. The event marked an important step forward in the cooperative relationship in training, scientific research and practical activities between the two units.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut emphasized that higher education is transforming strongly towards personalization, technology integration, diversifying learning forms and focusing on developing practical capacity. He affirmed that a modern governance model needs to be built on five core pillars, in which increasing strategic links with partners is an important factor to promote innovation and creativity.

According to the agreement, the two sides agreed to conduct periodic reviews and assessments every 6 months or annually to adjust, update and expand cooperation contents in accordance with the development strategy of each stage.

Staff and lecturers of Bac Lieu University visited and experienced the modern facilities of Hong Bang International University after the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding.

The signing and implementation of this cooperation agreement not only demonstrates consensus in development orientation but also opens up a new journey full of potential, promising to bring many development opportunities for staff, lecturers and especially students of both schools.

The cooperation agreement between BLU and HIU focuses on the following areas:

Training cooperation: joint training of undergraduate and postgraduate programs; exchange of lecturers and students; support in developing training programs and improving teaching quality.

Scientific research cooperation: implementing joint research topics; co-organizing domestic and international scientific conferences; supporting the development of scientific journals and joint publishing.

Training and coaching programs: organize training and coaching programs to improve professional capacity for staff and lecturers.

Community service and digital transformation: Cooperate in implementing community service programs and promoting digital transformation in education.

Connecting with international partners: HIU will support BLU to connect with foreign partners, learn management models and develop educational institutions in a globalized direction.

Communication and brand development: jointly promote the brand through professional events and share job opportunities and employer networks for students from both sides.
