Winning the final with an unbelievable score of 6-0 6-0, Swiatek became the first Wimbledon champion

No woman has won a Wimbledon final with a double bagel - the name for a win without dropping a set - since Dorothea Lambert Chambers in 1911. But Swiatek did the "impossible" thanks to her greater experience.

This was the first time both players were in a Wimbledon final, but Polish Swiatek was more confident because she had been in many Grand Slam finals. On the other hand, Anisimova was quite nervous because this was her first Grand Slam final.

In the first set, Anisimova made a series of errors and gave Swiatek the chance to win 6-0 in just 25 minutes. Despite a cheer from the Centre Court crowd, things did not improve in the second set for the 13th seed.

A total of 28 unforced errors, along with five double faults, clearly illustrated the difficulties Anisimova had to endure. She lost the set 6-0 in just 32 minutes and missed out on her first Grand Slam title.

In an interview after the match, Anisimova choked up and said: "It's been an incredible two weeks for me, even though I ran out of gas in the last match. I wish I could have performed better for everyone today."

Meanwhile, Swiatek won Wimbledon for the first time and had the 6th Grand Slam of her career. She felt unbelievable with the easy victory in the final.

"To be honest, I didn't even dream about winning Wimbledon because it was so far away. I feel like I'm an experienced player, I've won many other Grand Slams, but I didn't expect to win like this in the final. It seems surreal," the Polish girl shared sincerely.
