On August 8 and 9, the Party Cell of the Editorial Office of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized a trip back to the source in Con Dao Special Zone to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The delegation was led by Mr. Le Cao Cuong, Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, along with 21 party members in the cell.

During the journey back to the source, the Party Cell of the Lao Dong Newspaper had a thematic meeting in the form of listening to a talk about Con Dao prison, with the topic: "The event of establishing the first special Party Cell of the Communist Party in Con Dao prison - clear evidence of the spirit of solidarity, fighting spirit and organization of the Party in a fierce prison".
The delegation visited Phu Hai prison, where the tour guide introduced the history of the prison, as well as the indomitable fighting spirit of revolutionary soldiers in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.

At the same time, the delegation visited Con Dao Temple, a place of worship for more than 20,000 soldiers and patriotic compatriots who sacrificed their lives, and Hang Keo Cemetery. At the destinations, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers in memory, expressing deep gratitude to the revolutionary soldiers and compatriots who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Con Dao is not only a tourist destination but also a "red address" with historical relics such as: Hang Duong Cemetery, Con Dao Prison, French - American tiger cages... Preserving historical values combined with developing cultural and spiritual tourism is considered an important direction.
With its strategic location in the East Sea, Con Dao also plays an outpost role in protecting maritime sovereignty , affirmed through sovereignty landmarks such as Hon Tai Lon (A3), Hon Bong Lau (A4), Hon Bay Canh (A5)...
