This information was just released by Bamboo Airways late on November 7. Thus, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai left the "hot seat" at Bamboo Airways after less than two months. Previously, at the end of May, Mr. Hai was appointed CEO of this airline to replace Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan.

Born in 1972, Mr. Hai has a bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Management from the National Economics University and has 25 years of experience in the aviation industry. He was Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines (April 2015 to January 2019) and General Director of Cambodia Angkor Air.

At the annual meeting last month, Mr. Hai, representing the Bamboo Airways executive board, presented quite detailed plans for the development and restructuring of the airline under the new investor – Him Lam Group – to shareholders. In particular, he focused on talking a lot about how to make Bamboo Airways profitable to meet the requirements of investors.

Not only the executive board, the airline's Board of Directors also had some turmoil despite being reorganized in mid-June. Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of four members, including Chairman Oshima Hideki, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Trong and two Vice Chairmen Doan Huu Doan and Phan Dinh Tue.

The new Chairman of Bamboo Airways is Mr. Le Thai Sam, who previously held the position of a member of the Board of Directors. Currently, Mr. Sam holds more than 50% of the shares in Bamboo Airways. Mr. Oshima Hideki holds the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Ba Nguyen and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong are Vice Chairmen.

Bamboo Airways said that adjusting the structure of the Board of Directors and the Board of General Directors is part of the process of perfecting the personnel apparatus and accelerating the organizational restructuring.
