Turn opportunities into reality, into aspirations to rise up

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee was established under Decision No. 09-QD/TU, dated July 3, 2025 of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

The Party Committee was formed on the basis of receiving 172 grassroots party organizations with 10,933 party members from the Party Committees of the People's Committees of 03 provinces: Binh Thuan - Dak Nong and Lam Dong (old). and 2 grassroots Party Committees (Da Lat University, Nuclear Research Institute) under Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

After implementing the organization of administrative agencies and public service units of the province, grassroots party organizations were accordingly arranged and consolidated.

The merger of the three provinces has created a larger economic -administrative spatial entity, fully converging the potential and strengths of a province with borders, sea, forests and islands.

With the largest natural area in the country, in that space, nature has bestowed upon Lam Dong many legendary landscapes and unique, famous and typical architectural works of the world.

These advantages will open up a historic opportunity to comprehensively restructure the regional development model; reallocate population, infrastructure, and investment resources according to a new strategic orientation.

This has created unprecedented potentials, resources and opportunities for Lam Dong province to make development breakthroughs and step firmly into the new era of the nation.

Although it is the largest province in the country, Lam Dong's geographical space is divided by complex terrain, stretching from the highlands to the coastal areas, and has both land and sea borders and islands.

Although this feature opens up many potentials, it is also a big challenge, causing difficulties in planning, management and synchronous connection between regions in the province.

The connecting infrastructure system, especially transport infrastructure and information infrastructure in some areas, is still weak and cannot meet development requirements.

Some planning schemes are still overlapping, inadequate and lacking in consistency. Removing difficulties for businesses and attracting strategic investors with financial capacity and reputation have not achieved high results.

In addition, issues related to climate change and natural disasters such as drought and lack of fresh water in some coastal areas or extreme weather events in the highlands are still constant challenges, requiring close guidance and fundamental, long-term solutions.

Socially, the poverty rate and the lives of a segment of the population still face many difficulties, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

However, clearly aware of the role and responsibility in the new period, immediately after the decision to establish, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee focused on directing and organizing the organization, Party committees, and inspection committees. It promptly established advisory and support agencies for the Party Committee; advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue the Working Regulations of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; and at the same time issued the Working Regulations of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee and the Work Program.

The work of consolidating, perfecting and establishing new grassroots party organizations, especially in departments and branches, was rearranged and reorganized according to the general policy of the Central and the province. It was carried out promptly and in accordance with regulations, without interrupting the implementation of political tasks of agencies and units.

Although the official operation period is not long, the Provincial Party Committee has promptly grasped the situation, concretized the policies and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee; focused on leading and directing key work aspects, achieving important initial results: Leading the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security; leading the work of Party building and rectification and the political system ; leading the promotion of administrative reform associated with digital transformation and innovation...
