On March 22, a working delegation of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee led by Comrade Tran Tien Dung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to survey economic models in Vung Liem district, to serve the construction of documents for the 12th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and to survey the situation of arranging commune-level administrative units in the district.

The delegation visited the relic site of the tomb of the famous god Thoai Ngoc Hau and directly learned about agricultural production models with high economic efficiency such as growing green-skinned grapefruit and specializing in durian at cooperatives and farmer households in Thanh Binh island commune.

At each destination, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Tien Dung visited the production situation and praised the good and creative ways of investing in building highly effective economic models, suitable to the local advantages. At the same time, he acknowledged the advantages and difficulties in the production process of farmers and requested the relevant agencies to create all conditions to support in terms of mechanisms and policies.
