Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary: Taking people as the center to realize strategic vision

At the first session of the 8th term Quang Tri Provincial People's Council held on the morning of July 1, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, gave an important speech, orienting the development path of the new province after the merger.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the merger of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces is a strategic step demonstrating the comprehensive vision of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government.

This is not only an administrative event, but also a great opportunity to restructure the development model, mobilize resources, reform the organizational apparatus, improve governance efficiency and build the image of a new Quang Tri with stature and strong aspirations to rise up, becoming a new growth pole of the North Central region.

Mr. Quang requested that the Provincial People's Council urgently put the two-level government apparatus into smooth, effective and efficient operation; innovate governance methods, promote administrative reform, strongly decentralize and improve the satisfaction of people and businesses.

In his opening remarks at the meeting, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized 6 key groups of tasks, including; urgently putting the 2-level government apparatus into smooth, effective and efficient operation; promoting administrative reform and digital government; promoting collective intelligence and effectively exploiting potential; enhancing the quality of supervision; maintaining solidarity and consensus; and preparing well for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The congress documents need to clearly demonstrate the new vision, development aspirations and unique identity of Quang Tri province after the merger.

Mr. Quang hopes that the new Quang Tri province will become a model of organizational reform and rapid and sustainable development.

On this occasion, the Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee called on each cadre, civil servant, party member, and People's Council delegate to promote the pioneering spirit, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, take solidarity as the fulcrum, take the people as the center and take aspirations as the driving force to jointly realize the strategic vision, build Quang Tri province into a land of intellectual convergence, spread values and connect the future.
