Recalling the visit and work in Niigata province in November 2023, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung said: The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Thanh Hoa and Niigata on this occasion has established an important milestone, an opportunity for the two sides to jointly establish new goals, new milestones, bringing the Thanh Hoa - Niigata relationship to a new height.

To realize the contents of the cooperation memorandum between Thanh Hoa and Niigata provinces, the Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee proposed that the Governor and the Niigata Provincial Government study and expand the product consumption market, connect businesses between Thanh Hoa and Niigata provinces; strengthen connections, orientation, and introduction of Japanese businesses and investors to learn about investment in Thanh Hoa province, especially in areas with great potential such as production infrastructure, transport infrastructure, logistics, healthcare and urban development. In addition, there are areas such as digital economy, innovation, green economy, circular economy, new energy, etc.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that Thanh Hoa and Niigata provinces continue to increase human resource exchange; enhance cultural, sports, tourism, education and training exchanges; and coordinate to promote the beautiful image of culture, land and people of Thanh Hoa, attractive tourism products of Thanh Hoa to the people of Niigata in particular and the people of Japan in general.

The Governor also shared about some of the planned programs that Niigata province will implement in Thanh Hoa such as business connection, study abroad and job fairs, cultural exchange programs, sports and physical education, youth exchanges, etc.

In particular, Mr. Hanazumi Hideyo said that Niigata province always warmly welcomes and will wholeheartedly help Thanh Hoa workers to choose Niigata province's enterprises as a place to study, accumulate experience, and practice skills. This is an effective channel to enhance understanding and connection between the two provinces, Niigata and Thanh Hoa.
