The Dien Chau - Bai Vot component project is one of three public-private partnership (PPP) investment projects of the North-South Eastern Expressway. On this route, there is a construction item of Than Vu tunnel through Than Vu mountain, the North belongs to Dien Chau district and the South belongs to Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. Phase 1 will complete the construction of the right branch tunnel for 2-way exploitation. Phase 2 will complete the entire tunnel according to the complete scale with 6 lanes for motor vehicles. The tunnel opening is very important. From this point on, the coordination of personnel, vehicles, supplies, and materials can go through the tunnel without having to go around on the service road, contributing to speeding up the construction progress of Than Vu tunnel in particular and the entire project in general.
