This is the longest road tunnel in Nghe An province. Photo: Tran Chau Than Vu Tunnel has a total length of 1.13 km, designed with a scale of 2 separate tunnels, each tunnel width is 13.78m, the distance between 2 tunnel centers is 45m. Phase 1 will complete the construction of the right branch tunnel for 2-way exploitation. Phase 2 will complete the entire tunnel according to the complete scale with 6 lanes for motor vehicles. The most difficult part is when working from the two southern ends of the tunnel to the confluence point, we encounter a weak geological zone. If we are not careful, landslides can easily occur.
