At the same time, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City hoped that people would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, coordinate with functional forces to gradually overcome difficulties, and absolutely not return to their old place of residence when the storm and flood have not stabilized to ensure their own safety.

Also at the inspection, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong requested the leaders of Tay Ho district and Yen Phu ward to ensure living conditions, accommodation and activities for people during their temporary stay. Special attention should be paid to the health of the elderly and children, and all necessities should be provided for people to live comfortably.

Along with that, continue to strictly maintain the on-duty regime, arrange forces to regularly inspect flooded areas, promptly take measures to handle arising situations. Ensure security and safety for both the destination and the departure of people who have to evacuate to avoid floods.

As of 3:00 p.m. on September 11, the entire Tay Ho district had evacuated more than 700 households with about 1,800 people from the flooded area to safe places. Basically, people proactively arranged accommodation at relatives' houses. For the 80 cases without accommodation, the wards proactively arranged them to ward cultural houses, schools, neighborhood activity houses and residential areas.
