This is a concrete step to realize two major orientations: Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution 68 on private economic sector development.

In the context of digital transformation and innovation being a key priority for Vietnam, the connection between institutions, knowledge and implementation capacity has become more urgent than ever. The "Three-party" cooperation model - State, School and Enterprise - is considered the foundation for building an effective, substantive and sustainable innovation ecosystem.

Accordingly, the three parties operate according to the principle of "co-design - co-implement - co-share value". The parties participate together in building research goals, and at the same time share financial benefits from application results. When the "strategic triangle" operates effectively, the country will have the opportunity to "take shortcuts, get ahead", escape the middle-income trap and rise strongly.

Mr. Tran Hung Huy, Chairman of ACB's Board of Directors, emphasized: "Although the two resolutions aim at different goals, they both affirm one thing: Innovation can only truly go deep when placed in an ecosystem with close connections between policy, knowledge and action. For ACB, cooperation with universities is not only a resource development strategy, but also a way for us to contribute to promoting a sustainable future for the economy and society."

Accordingly, the bank not only 'orders' human resources, but also 'co-designs' solutions with the school; not only receives knowledge, but also contributes experience from business practices.

The signing is not only a milestone in the cooperation between ACB and Ho Chi Minh City National University, but also clearly demonstrates the pioneering role of enterprises in the process of connecting national strategy with practical actions. ACB expects that from this foundation, a broad innovation ecosystem will be formed - where the State plans the strategy, the University leads the knowledge and enterprises are the driving force for implementation.

Along with academic cooperation, ACB is also stepping up investment in human development – from within the organization to the community. Programs such as The Next Banker or the VND50 billion financial package to support disadvantaged students are testament to ACB’s long-term commitment to improving the quality of human resources – a sufficient condition for a sustainable economic development.

From the signing of the cooperation agreement, ACB and Ho Chi Minh City National University will jointly implement many specific action programs revolving around three main directions as follows: First, promoting financial access for education and startups. Developing financial products to support students, postgraduates and startups - especially in areas related to green and sustainable development.

Second, accelerate digital transformation in finance: Cooperate in research and development of digital banking, fintech, and AI solutions for practical application in the finance - banking industry and related fields.

Third, incubating initiatives and nurturing young talents: Sponsoring and co-organizing startup competitions, ESG applied research and experiential learning programs such as "School-in-Factory" and "Learning by Doing", helping students approach practice and grow through the journey of creating value.

Not only stopping at academic cooperation, ACB is also the first bank to implement Resolution 68 with a credit package of VND 40,000 billion to support businesses with solutions in digital transformation, sustainable development and market share expansion.
