In the first 7 months of 2025, the consumer price index in Nghe An increased by 1.94%

According to the Nghe An Statistics Office, of the 11 main groups of consumer goods and services, 5 groups had price indexes that increased compared to the previous month: Housing, electricity, water and construction materials increased by 0.62%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 0.56%; Household equipment and appliances increased by 0.18%; Food and catering services increased by 0.11%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.06%; Other goods and services increased by 0.03%.

There are 3 price index groups that remain unchanged compared to the previous month: Post and telecommunications, Education , medicine and medical services.

There are 2 groups of indexes that decreased compared to the previous month: Transportation decreased by 0.49% and garment, hat, and footwear decreased by 0.24%.

On average, in the first 7 months of 2025, the consumer price index increased by 1.94% over the same period last year.

Eight out of 11 commodity groups increased, including: Medicines and medical services increased by 13.33%; Other goods and services increased by 6%; Food and catering services increased by 3.02%; Apparel, hats and footwear increased by 1.23%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 1.21%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.89%; Household equipment and utensils increased by 0.76%.

There are 3/11 commodity groups that decreased including: Transportation decreased by 5.95%; Education decreased by 0.84% and Post and telecommunications decreased by 0.33%.

The gold price index in July 2025 increased by 1.25% compared to the previous month, up 48.53% over the same period. The average for the first 7 months of 2025 increased by 47.38% over the same period. Domestic gold prices fluctuated in the same direction as world gold prices.

The US dollar index increased by 0.32% compared to the previous month and by 2.54% compared to the same period last year. The average for the first 7 months of 2025 increased by 2.53% compared to the same period last year.
