Eating apples, pineapple, brushing teeth with dental floss, gargling with coconut oil, rinsing mouth with baking soda, helps whiten teeth, prevent bad breath.

There are many dental causes of bad breath, such as oral yeast infections, tooth decay, dentures, and poor oral hygiene. Gingivitis caused by poor oral hygiene can also cause bad breath.

After eating, food remains in the teeth and around the gums, creating conditions for bacteria to grow, causing bad breath. Food is broken down in the mouth, absorbed into the blood and travels to the lungs, affecting the air exhaled. Here are ways to clean your teeth to reduce bad breath.

Brush and floss: Clean your teeth about twice a day, using toothpaste to clean stains on the surface of your teeth. Flossing helps remove food, plaque and remaining bacteria, reducing bad breath.

Coconut oil: Use a spoonful of coconut oil and hold it in your mouth for up to 5-10 minutes, then spit it out. Coconut oil can kill harmful bacteria in the mouth, prevent tooth decay thanks to the lactic acid in it, and help reduce gingivitis and bad breath.

Baking soda is a mild abrasive that helps remove stains; you can try using a mixture of baking soda and toothpaste. Baking soda helps remove surface stains over time, making teeth whiter and cleaner. Use baking soda about 2-3 times a week to clean your teeth.

Baking soda also helps eliminate bad bacteria in the mouth, reducing bad breath. Use two teaspoons of baking soda, put it in a cup of warm water, hold it in your mouth for at least 30 seconds and then spit it out.

Apples and pineapples: The malic acid in apples increases saliva, helping to neutralize acids in the mouth. Pineapples contain bromelain, which helps whiten teeth, stimulate saliva production, prevent dry mouth, and reduce bad breath. People can enjoy these two fruits regularly and make sure to brush their teeth twice a day to improve oral health.

Turmeric : This spice is often used to flavor curries, this healthful spice also helps whiten teeth and prevent tooth decay.

Limit certain foods : Drinks such as coffee, red wine, and soda are culprits that stain teeth and dry out the mouth. These drinks should be limited. If you drink them, drink water afterward to avoid dry and bad breath.

Other foods should also be limited, especially in the evening, such as processed meat, cheese, beef steak, garlic, onions...

Do not smoke because it creates a bad smell quickly, cigarettes can cause stains, turn teeth yellow and increase the risk of oral diseases.
