In order to promptly support and increase food rations for children in difficult circumstances, the Vietnam Children's Fund has coordinated with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company through the Provincial Children's Fund to implement the "Happy Noodle Package" Program in 2023 to support 812 boxes of noodles and pho for 534 students. Of which, 241 students of Den Thang Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities were supported with 363 boxes of noodles and pho; 293 students of Den Thang Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities were supported with 449 boxes of noodles and pho.
The total value of the gifts is more than 100 million VND sponsored by the Vietnam Children's Fund in coordination with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
The support products are used for 3 months, starting from April 1, 2023, the total number of products supported is 45 packages of noodles, pho/student. Before the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the remaining noodles will be divided equally by the school for the students to bring home to continue using during the summer, ensuring compliance with the sponsor's instructions.
This is a meaningful activity to strengthen the protection and care of children, especially paying attention to the spiritual and material care of children in special and difficult circumstances, ethnic minority children, and children in mountainous areas. At the same time, it demonstrates the close connection between the Vietnam Children's Fund and businesses in caring for nutrition and health for children in especially difficult circumstances; to encourage and motivate them to have more confidence and determination to overcome difficulties, towards a better future.
