The Lao Cai Specialized High School construction project is one of the province's key projects, aiming to improve the quality of education and train local talents. Currently, the team of workers and engineers here are working continuously, regardless of sun or rain. The project's construction progress is being accelerated to complete and put into use in the 2025-2026 school year, meeting the expectations of the local government and people.

After nearly 1 year of construction, Lao Cai High School for the Gifted is in the "final stage". According to the report of the Lao Cai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, currently, the volume of project items has reached 90%, of which, Block 1 and Block 2 have completed the rough construction and are in the process of finishing; the conference hall, canteen, and dormitory are under construction with finishing items such as primer, flooring, wall cladding, etc. To ensure progress, the contractor has mobilized maximum means, engineers, and workers to divide into many construction teams for project items and basically complete all items by the end of April 2025.

Kim Thanh - Ngoi Phat Road is one of the important transport projects in completing the infrastructure of the cross-border cooperation area, creating conditions to attract investment, exploiting the potential and strengths of the province's border economy. At the construction site, hundreds of workers and modern machinery and equipment are operating at full capacity, the working atmosphere clearly shows a high spirit of determination, all aiming to complete the project ahead of schedule. According to the project investor, package No. 10 (Provincial Road 156 and BV21 Road) has basically been paved, the contractor is completing the installation of sidewalks, triangular ditches and auxiliary works, striving to complete the entire package in May 2025.

For packages 6, 7, 8, the investor is actively coordinating with departments, branches and local authorities to remove difficulties and obstacles, and support contractors to speed up progress. Currently, package 6 for construction of the road section from Km0+00 to Km2+00) implemented by the Duc Tuan - Quang Minh - Hai Vinh consortium has completed about 110/127.2 billion VND, reaching 86% of the volume; package 7 for construction of the road section from Km2+00 to Km5+00 implemented by the Cao Minh Construction Co., Ltd. - Linh Nam Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. has completed about 80/135.5 billion VND, reaching 60%; Package No. 8 for construction of the road section from Km5+00 to Km8+050, implemented by Cuong Thinh Thi Construction Investment Group Joint Stock Company, has completed 85/114.9 billion VND, reaching 75%.

Another important project is the road bridge across the Red River at the Bat Xat - Ba Sai border. This project is not only of economic significance but also a symbol of international connection and cooperation. This bridge will play an important role in enhancing border trade between Vietnam and China, while opening up new development opportunities for the region. Understanding that meaning, the team of engineers and workers here are working day and night, not only to ensure progress but also to focus on quality and safety in each construction item.

Mr. Phan Dang Tuan Dat, technical officer of Trung Chinh Construction and Trading Company Limited (the contractor of the road bridge project across the Red River at the Bat Xat - Ba Sai border) said: Currently, the contractor has constructed bored piles, abutments of the approach bridge, completed bored piles of T9 pillars, and is currently drilling T8 pillars under the river. We always put quality and progress first and mobilize 3 shifts, 4 shifts day and night to ensure the set progress.

At construction sites, the labor emulation movement is being launched and implemented strongly, creating an enthusiastic and exciting working atmosphere. Construction units have made detailed plans, implemented optimal technical solutions and mobilized maximum resources to ensure progress, quality and labor safety. Key projects and works in Lao Cai are not only large investment items but also symbols of innovation and development of the province. Completing these projects on schedule will contribute to improving infrastructure, promoting socio-economic development and improving people's lives.
