Minh Nhi
Truong Hung Minh - stage name Minh Nhi, born in 1964 in Dong Thap - had a difficult childhood in a large family. Although he was a good student and won the first prize in the provincial literature competition for grade 9, he failed the medical university entrance exam according to his family's wishes. Fate turned around when Minh Nhi unexpectedly passed the director training course at the Stage Arts School 2.
"At that time, I shared a room with Ly Hai, Cat Phuong and many other artists. There were days when we didn't have money for breakfast but we still practiced enthusiastically," Minh Nhi recalled.
During his studies, he and his friends formed the comedy group Con Nhim to earn extra income. With his small appearance and playful acting style, he received many invitations to act in films and plays, from which he took the stage name Minh Nhi.

With his talent and constant efforts, Minh Nhi became a comedy star in the South. He is famous for his natural and humorous acting style. He formed a comedy duo with artist Huu Chau, "making waves" on stages at home and abroad. He won two Mai Vang Awards for Best Drama Actor in 1998 and 1999.
Not only is Minh Nhi a talented actor, he is also a dedicated teacher, training many generations of artists such as Viet Huong, Thuy Nga, Tiet Cuong, Cao Minh Dat. Currently at the age of 61, he is still actively involved in the arts and manages the Truong Hung Minh theater, which continues to nurture young talent.
