Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed the Prime Minister's decisions on disciplinary action by removing the position of Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2015-2020 period and Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2012-2014 period for Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xung, former Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

The reason is that Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xung had committed violations and shortcomings in his work and the Secretariat had taken disciplinary action against him.

The Prime Minister has issued a disciplinary warning to Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Transport. The reason is that Mr. Le Anh Tuan committed violations during his tenure as Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and the Central Inspection Commission has issued a disciplinary action against him.

Previously, at the meeting in June, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the terms 2010 - 2015, 2015 - 2020.

The Central Inspection Commission disciplined Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Transport, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province.

After reviewing the proposal of the Central Inspection Commission, the Politburo and the Secretariat found that: The Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the terms 2010 - 2015, 2015 - 2020 violated the principle of democratic centralism, Party regulations, State laws, and working regulations in approving investment policies, planning, and adjusting planning for a number of land use projects of FLC Group Joint Stock Company.

The Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also approved and implemented public investment projects under the Smart City Project; in land management and use and implementation of the Hac Thanh Tower project; in personnel work; in leadership of the declaration and disclosure of assets and income.

In addition, this agency is also irresponsible, lax in leadership, direction, inspection and supervision, allowing the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and many organizations and individuals to violate Party regulations and State laws.

Violations by the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee during the 2010-2015 and 2015-2020 terms have caused serious and difficult-to-remedy consequences, causing great damage and risk of damage to the state budget, resulting in many officials and party members being disciplined and criminally prosecuted, causing bad public opinion in society, reducing the prestige of the party organization and local government.

The Politburo decided to discipline the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 and 2015-2020 terms with a warning.

The Secretariat decided to discipline and remove from all Party positions Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xung, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee, and former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province.
