In the 2020-2025 term, agricultural, forestry and fishery production in Dong Tien commune has developed quite comprehensively, playing an important role in the stability and socio -economic development of the locality. The rate of mechanization in production reached 95% in all stages. Land accumulation and concentration activities, application of science and technology in production have been promoted. The whole commune has accumulated and concentrated land for large-scale agricultural production, applying high technology on 83.7 hectares, exceeding the set target by 4.6% (80 hectares). Livestock has clearly changed in production organization, strongly shifting from household farming to concentrated, large-scale farming, applying high technology. A number of models of land accumulation and concentration associated with crop restructuring for large-scale production, applying high technology, associated with production linkage and product consumption have been effectively and sustainably implemented. Typical examples include commodity production linked to value chains, VietGAP rice areas in Dai Dong 1, Dai Dong 2, Phuc Am, Long Van villages...; the former Dong Tien agricultural service cooperative with a scale of 100 hectares of tray seedling production; a safe grape growing model in Loc Trach village, growing melons in greenhouses in Phuc Am village; aquaculture combined with frog breeding models, commercial frogs, and snails in Thanh Xuan, Nha Loc, Dai Dong villages...

The number of newly established enterprises is 53, exceeding the target. Industrial and handicraft production has developed quite well with many forms of production and individual business development such as construction materials production, mechanics, carpentry, agricultural processing, garment, stone mining and processing, stone production for construction, export... Every year, jobs are created for more than 5,000 workers, of which about 3,000 are local workers with an average income of more than 7.5 million VND/person/month. The total income for workers in the whole commune from enterprises is about 300 billion VND/year, contributing to job creation, economic development and promoting the shift in rural labor structure in the commune. In particular, in 2025, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued Decision No. 1316/QD-UBND dated April 29, 2025 on approving the investment policy and approving investors for the project of constructing and operating the infrastructure of Thang Long Thanh Hoa Industrial Park (phase 1), including Dong Tien commune, with a total area of about 167 hectares and a total investment of nearly VND 2,918 billion. This will be the foundation for the development of Dong Tien commune in the coming years.

Transport infrastructure has been strongly invested in. In addition to the routes invested by the Central, the province and the district, the transport network in the commune has been completed and developed strongly, the rural roads have been basically hardened, the commune has mobilized 1,166 households to donate land with a total length of 25.9km, the total donated land area is 16,883m2. The investment, upgrading and repair of educational, cultural and medical facilities have been given attention, making an important contribution to education, health care and serving the community cultural activities of the people. 21/21 villages and agencies have met cultural standards; the rate of meeting cultural family standards will reach 96% in 2025. The system of cultural and sports facilities continues to be invested in, installing wireless loudspeaker systems with a total of 71 speakers/38 speaker clusters. The Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations always stay close to the grassroots, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, directly propagate and mobilize the people in many forms; propagate and guide the people in production, ensure security and order in the commune, eliminate superstition and social evils...

The program of building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas in the commune has achieved quite comprehensive results. The rural appearance of Dong Tien commune has improved a lot, is clean and civilized, the economy maintains a high growth rate, the commune has 2 products recognized as 3-star OCOP.

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Tien commune have promoted the tradition of solidarity, proactiveness and creativity, striving to achieve many important and comprehensive results in all fields, with 22/23 targets achieved and exceeded the resolution. Socio-economic development continues, national defense and security (QP-AN) is ensured, the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system is deployed synchronously and effectively; cadres, party members and people highly agree with the policies of the Party Committee and government. Average income per capita in 2025 is estimated at 74.88 million VND/year. The production value of the agricultural and fishery sectors increases steadily every year, with an estimated 143.2 billion VND in 2025 alone, exceeding the target and 2.16 times higher than in 2020 (66.3 billion VND in 2020). The total state budget revenue for the 2021-2025 period is estimated at 205.7 billion VND.

Building Dong Tien strong in all aspects

Entering the 2025-2030 term with many opportunities, advantages and challenges intertwined, when the whole country and the whole province implement a two-level local government, it requires the entire political system as well as each cadre, party member and people of Dong Tien commune to always strive, unite and unite to complete the set goals and tasks. With the motto of action: "Solidarity - Discipline - Proactiveness - Creativity - Development", Dong Tien commune continues to enhance the leadership role and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promote the results and achievements that have been achieved and the strength of great national unity; exploit well the potential, advantages, resources, traditional and cultural values; strongly improve the investment and business environment, attract investment, develop the economy quickly and sustainably, apply digital technology, improve people's lives; promote socialization, improve the quality of cultural and social activities; Implement well the work of social security, sustainable poverty reduction; ensure national defense and security, social order and safety. Dong Tien commune is determined to complete and exceed 25/25 main targets, including 11 economic targets, 9 socio-cultural targets, 2 environmental targets, 1 security and order target, 2 targets on Party building.

To achieve the set goals, Dong Tien commune has set out key tasks and solutions, and simultaneously implemented 4 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs. Of which, there are 5 groups of solutions on socio-economics, national defense and security; 3 groups of solutions on Party building and the political system. The highlight in implementing these tasks and solutions is that Dong Tien commune focuses on developing production and business, prioritizing the development of industries with potential and advantages, creating a clear change in growth quality towards sustainability. Accumulating and concentrating 90 hectares of land for large-scale agricultural production, applying high technology. Attracting investment projects in foreign transport infrastructure, industrial clusters...; diversifying types of services and trade. Promoting the application of scientific and technological advances in production and management; striving to collect the State budget in the area annually exceeding the provincial estimate by 7% or more...

Proud of the results achieved in the 2020-2025 term; the attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee; the support, guidance and companionship of departments, branches and units and localities in the province; along with the tradition of solidarity, will and aspiration to rise up, the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Tien commune are determined to successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution of the 1st Party Congress of the commune, term 2025-2030.
