According to the report of Khanh Hoa Department of Health, as of 3:00 p.m. on March 15, the total number of poisoning cases received by medical facilities was 345, the total number of hospitalized cases was 239, and the total number of cases currently being treated was 201.
Most of the patients are gradually stabilizing, serious cases, the elderly and children are transferred to the Provincial General Hospital for continued treatment.
One of them is being treated at Khanh Hoa General Hospital with a more serious condition. The patient is 18 weeks pregnant, has a fever of 38.5 degrees, pulse: 95 times/minute, nausea, diarrhea more than 10 times, and abdominal pain around the navel. The patient has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit for treatment and monitoring.
Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hiep - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Health - said that this pregnant woman was poisoned after eating Tram Anh chicken rice, and was in the group with signs of risk, so she was transferred to the intensive care unit for monitoring. After rehydration, the patient was stable, and doctors are currently monitoring both the mother and fetus.

Currently, hospitals continue to monitor disease progression and update test results of each patient to adjust appropriate clinical indications.
At the same time, the Department of Health directed the Food Safety and Hygiene Department to coordinate with medical centers and health departments of districts, towns and cities to continue epidemiological investigations, investigate and trace the cause of poisoning, cut off the source of infection, strengthen communication and education for people to eat hygienically during the hot season, and check and inspect cold foods, processed foods and fast foods in the area.
