At noon on May 3, the An Suong Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) organized a crime scene investigation, took witness statements and extracted camera footage to clarify the cause of the traffic accident between a tractor-trailer and a 4-seat car on Do Muoi Street (old National Highway 1, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12) and at the same time cleared the scene to avoid congestion.

Previously, the tractor trailer with license plate 70E-005.91 was traveling in the same direction as the 4-seat car with license plate 61A-979.17 on Do Muoi Street (from District 12 to Binh Chanh). When passing the Do Muoi - Nguyen Van Qua intersection, the two vehicles suddenly collided.

The strong collision caused the 4-seater car to spin sideways and was pushed by the trailer onto the median strip, the front of the car encroaching on the opposite lane. The front of the 4-seater car was deformed, the driver of the 4-seater car was slightly injured and panicked, opening the door to escape.

The traffic incident caused congestion on Do Muoi Street, and traffic police quickly cleared the scene to ensure traffic flow.
